For my painting, I illustrated different hispanic historical figures and artists, as well as other various aspects of hispanic culture. It features Miguel de Cervantes, Cesar Chavez, Hernan Cortes, Frida Kahlo, Pablo Picasso, and Salvador Dalí. I also painted an Aztec pyramid, a calavera for Día de los Muertos, a man running from a bull for Sanfermin, as well as red carnations in the background, the national flower of Spain. I tried to capture different aspects of spanish culture that have influenced the world, figures that have influenced history, and artists that have changed art as a whole.
