Despite providers agreeing that advance care planning counseling is within their scope of practice, many reported that they lack the time, education and resources needed to provide their patients with the counseling needed to make informed advance care planning decisions. In an effort to address the perceived time crunch described by many providers, we are seeking feedback on the accessibility and ease of utilization of the rapid assessment tool we created which should allow for PCP's to quickly identify patients who could benefit from advance care planning interventions. First, providers at all levels were surveyed about their personal implementation of an AD, they completed basic demographic information about their current practices, and then they assessed and provided feedback about the rapid assessment tool we created. A total of 21 providers participated over a l 0-week period. 12 reported having their own documented advanced directive, 87 .5% reported time was indicated as a major barrier to ACP discussions and 47.6% of participants indicated they would very likely use a rapid assessment tool (RAT) if one was available to prompt them to engage their patients in ACP. At the conclusion of this study, we are able to demonstrate that time continues to significant barrier to patient-provider engagement, modifications were made to the RAT and recommendations for future implementation studies for this tool were established based on the subjective feedback of the participants.

Sniffer Dogs
Sniffer dogs have worked alongside law enforcement officers, military units, border patrols and search and rescue teamss since the 1980s. There are two training locations for canines. One is located in Front Royal, Virginia. The headquarters of the Customs and Border Protection Canine Training center is located in El Paso, Texas. There has been many different studies conducted on sniffer dogs and their ability to detect certain odors. One of those studies was conducted by Osterkamp (2011) who examined how dogs are capable of transporting particular scents in water into their noses. Water dogs have been used in the U.S. Navy to help detect human corpses that are submerged in water. Gazit & Terkel (2002), examined how to reduce panting of sniffer dogs, because when they are panting they are not able to fully smell and detect hazardous materials. Panting is used as a cooling mechanism for dogs and can restrain them from their full potential. Bonfanti (2014), studied the difference between chemical sniffers or body scanners and sniffer dogs. Chemical sniffers have been increasing and may take the place of sniffer dogs as a whole, because sniffer dogs have time implications with their training.

In these uncertain times, when unregularly war is very common and when we were witnesses of helplessness of major countries against Afghanistan or Chechnya, it is important to change the definition of (every) country's military potential. In my essay I show how Home Guard composes the main answer for questions about raise the security level in country. From history to current conception I discuss purposes and structure of Home Guard. Then, there is a few words about place wher theory meets practise – part of “Practical Home Guard militaries functioning” shows reality of Home Guard is making conditions to effective protecting, supporting and supplying activities conducting by operative militaries, and also perform the active form of military conducting common and casual defense. The key of this essay is tu understand how Home Guard conntects high-level activities equally on battlefield and in time of peace.

EXTRA-TERRITORIAL CONSEQUENCES OF NATO’S WAR ON SERBIA
This paper discusses the NATO war on Serbia and its implications beyond the shores and territorial boundary of Serbia. Moved by what it described as gross violation of human rights, and the images of burning homes resulting from the raging conflict in Kosovo in 1999, NATO intervened into the situation by declaring war against the sovereign state of Serbia in defense of the Albanians in Kosovo. The war, like wars generally, produced effects, especially on Serbia. Besides the implications of this war on Serbia, it had far reaching consequences on the territories and countries beyond Serbia. It is to these extra-Serbian consequences of the NATO’s war that this paper devotes its attention. Using exclusively the secondary method of data gathering, the paper finds that NATO’s military attack against Serbia inter alia, unleashed a tidal wave of refugees that placed both economic and political pressure on the neighbouring countries, set a wrong and dangerous international precedent, damaged United States’ relationship with both China and Russia and made all Serbia’s neighbours register trade declines through war-induced trade disruptions.

Maybe it’s Just Different with Girls: A Social-Ecological Analysis of Intimate Partner Violence in Female-on-Female Relationships
This research paper seeks to fill this gap in the literature by exploring IPV in same-sex relationships and challenging the myth that female-on-female IPV does not occur because women are not “supposed” to act as sexual perpetrators or batterers. Using qualitative interviews and a social-ecology model, this paper examines the interplay between abused individuals, lesbian relationships, gay communities, and the aforementioned societal expectations of lesbian relationships. How these four levels overlap with one another to silence lesbian IPV victims and perpetuate abuse is then explored. Utilizing the social-ecological perspective allows for a more nuanced view of IPV that explains the phenomenon as more than male attempts to maintain dominance over their female partners.

The Ties that Bind: How Domestic Politics Influence Ties with Extraterritorial Courts—A Study of the JCPC
During the last half century, extraterritorial courts and the number of acceding states have markedly increased. It is important to better understand the relationships between the extraterritorial court and the state. This paper posits that the governments of those states will seek a change or disengage from the extraterritorial court if they perceive a disconnection between themselves and the extraterritorial court. The perception of such a disconnection is influenced by changes in the political environment that make the state more sensitive to decisions that are unfavorable to it. To test this theory, this paper examines the Judicial Committee of the Privy Council (JCPC).

The Relationship between Body Image and Lifestyle Choices in College Students
This study examined the relationships between body image perceptions and lifestyle choices as well as demographic variables in college students. The participants included 258 students at East Texas Baptist University that were surveyed using a questionnaire constructed by the researcher. The survey included questions about sleep quality, nutrition, exercise, religiosity, body image perception, and demographics for the participants, taken from several other studies and scales. Each of the three body dissatisfaction scores had a positive correlation with one variable representing poor sleep quality. Amounts of moderate and vigorous exercise were shown to have a negative correlation with body dissatisfaction. Religiosity levels were found to be higher in participants that had lower levels of the “think minus ideal” body dissatisfaction score. As for demographic variables, females indicated higher levels of body dissatisfaction than males, and age was also found to have significant correlations with body dissatisfaction. As age increased in participants, the “think minus ideal” scores increased and the “feel minus think” scores decreased. The limitations of this study include a difficulty to generalize the findings due to the study’s population which was not very diverse as far as age, race, or religion. Further research could include looking more in-depth at the variables studied, surveying other populations, and running more tests on the gathered data.

The Relationship between Gun Control Strictness and Mass Murder in the United States: A National Study 2009-2015
This paper aimed to determine if there is association between the strictness of gun control in a given state and the number of mass murder incidents per state in the United States. Controlling for population, gun control strictness was a weak, negative predictor of mass murder incidents and number of victims when a gun was used as a primary weapon. To understand the phenomenon of mass murder fully, mental health practitioners, law enforcement, and policymakers must make a joint effort so as to facilitate prevention.
